Ahmed is a second-time founder. He previously founded Bosta, an e-commerce delivery company in Egypt now operating in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, considered one of the most successful startups in the Middle East. Bosta has raised around $35 million in funding.

A year and a half ago, Ahmed moved to the UK to build TradeHub, a B2B marketplace connecting manufacturers and brands from emerging markets with business buyers in the UK and Europe. TradeHub has raised $1.4 million from VCs in the UK, New York, and the Middle East.
